Hyper Weekend Festival 2026: First Names Announced

Sep 25, 2025

The Hyper Weekend Festival will return to Paris from January 23 to 25, 2026, marking its 5th edition at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique. Over the past few years, this event has established itself as a bold and creative meeting place where artists, audiences, and musical genres collide in unexpected ways. More than just a series of concerts, it has grown into a platform for experimentation, where innovation, cultural dialogue, and collective experiences define the heart of the program.

The festival’s organizers have now revealed the first highlights of the upcoming edition, and they already showcase the event’s signature spirit of eclecticism and risk-taking.

One of the headline acts will be Camille, the French singer-songwriter whose artistry has long stood out for its inventiveness and vocal experimentation. For the first time, she will reinterpret her repertoire in a symphonic format, accompanied by an orchestra that will magnify the emotional depth of her songs. This promises to be an extraordinary reinvention of her music, where the intimacy of her voice will merge with the sweeping power of symphonic arrangements.

Another highlight will be Thylacine, the electronic producer known for his atmospheric soundscapes and projects inspired by travel and cinema. He will join forces with the Radio France children’s choir, an ensemble of young voices celebrated for their precision and expressiveness. The dialogue between Thylacine’s futuristic electronic textures and the timeless beauty of choral singing is set to create one of the most memorable performances of the festival  a genuine encounter between tradition and innovation.

The program also includes a striking tribute: Youssoupha, one of the most respected voices in French rap, will honor Daniel Balavoine, a legendary figure of 1980s French chanson. Balavoine’s music, infused with political engagement and humanist ideals, has left a profound legacy. Youssoupha’s reinterpretation will breathe new life into his work, introducing Balavoine to new generations while proving the enduring relevance of his messages about justice, solidarity, and hope.

Since its launch, the Hyper Weekend Festival has embraced the challenge of being a space where genres collide and audiences discover new artistic territories. Previous editions have already hosted surprising collaborations that could not be experienced anywhere else, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most forward-thinking cultural events in Paris. The 2026 edition continues this mission, offering projects that cross borders and blur boundaries between pop, rap, classical, and electronic music.

Beyond its programming, the festival is also unique in its setting. The Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, with its studios, auditoriums, and hidden corners, becomes a playground for artists. Performances often take place in unexpected spaces, transforming the building itself into part of the creative experience. The connection between architecture, sound, and audience creates an atmosphere at the festival unlike any other.

The announcement of Camille, Thylacine, and Youssoupha already sets the bar high, but the full lineup will be unveiled in the coming months. Each new name will add another layer to a festival that prides itself on diversity and invention. What is already clear, however, is that the Hyper Weekend Festival 2026 will not only present concerts but also offer audiences transformative encounters with music, reaffirming its place as one of the most innovative cultural events in France.
